Improving Real-time Safety Monitoring for multi-day field trips
In collaboration with key customers we have enhanced our solution to better support real-time safety monitoring for extended field operations. These updates improve usability, compliance, and emergency response for multi-day trips.

All GetHomeSafe users will receive a range of general improvements such as updated Knowledge Base links, enhanced map displays, Outlook Calendar integration, streamlined GPS device management, unified mobile interfaces, and performance optimisations.
Enhancements to Journey Planner and Scheduling (subscription add-ons)
- Improved journey planner and scheduling tools to streamline multi-day trip preparation.
- Better support for home-base check-ins, allowing manual progress updates via radio or voice communication.
- Enhanced continuous check-ins via satellite devices for seamless tracking throughout field trips.

Pre-planning multi-day field trips
- Users can now schedule start and end dates/times for multi-day trips using the Scheduling feature.
- Small UI improvements to clearly differentiate between scheduled end times and initial welfare checks.
- Detailed trip layouts using the Journey and Work Planner for improved clarity.
- Integrated risk assessment checklists ensure compliance requirements are met before departure.

Real-Time Safety Monitoring enhancements
- Expanded GPS tracking support for Garmin Enterprise, Zoleo, Tait digital radio, and TrackMe.
- Multi-channel mass messaging and emergency roll call for efficient emergency response.
- April improvements include:

General April enhancements
- Knowledge Base links now replace previous FAQ segments in support menus.
- New map display improvements: Activities marked as “Following Up” now appear in the Map Only view.
- Outlook Calendar Integration: Appointment end times now automatically update when a GetHomeSafe activity is completed.
- Easier GPS device management with a new navigation link in the left-hand menu.
- Mobile UI alignment: The Android version now matches the iOS interface with design and navigation refinements.
- Performance improvements and bug fixes.
