GetHomeSafe's 2023 in Review

2023 has proven to be both successful and enjoyable for the GetHomeSafe team!
Throughout the past 12 months, we've integrated numerous exciting features into the GetHomeSafe platform and welcomed several new members to our growing team, all while celebrating our 10-year anniversary!
Let's take a moment to reflect on the highlights from the extraordinary journey that was 2023.
This year, GetHomeSafe has been fortunate to grow as a team. We are excited to welcome our new Chief of Operations, Christian Sykes and Customer Success Manager, Nicole Rogan, along with several well-deserved promotions within our existing team! Sophia Taing, the main point of contact at GetHomeSafe for many of our long term customers moved on to an exciting new role with the University of Otago and we wish her all the best.
Our Dunedin team made the exciting transition of moving offices (across the street) to the Petridish shared office space, a collaborative and pet-friendly space with 50+ other exciting Otago businesses.
A big highlight was celebrating 10 years of GetHomeSafe! Our team came together and enjoyed dinner celebrations in both the UK and NZ where we reflected on our many achievements over the years.
From our humble beginnings in a Queenstown garage to cracking 100,000 app downloads, becoming a world leader in welfare monitoring technology and providing solutions to many amazing customers along the way, it's been an incredible journey.
We're immensely grateful to our fantastic team and the unwavering support from our valued customers—thank you to everyone who's been a part of our story! Here’s to the future milestones and beyond!
GetHomeSafe's New Features for 2023
Throughout 2023, we've released numerous enhancements and introduced new features. We're fortunate to have a highly skilled Product and Development team dedicated to their work, committed to delivering features that elevate safety and convenience for GetHomeSafe customers!
Some features that we have released this year include:
- Flight tracking
- Mass messaging
- Time and mileage report
- Quick start
2024 will be another year full of exciting new enhancements, with a focus on adding depth and value to existing features, specifically Safety Documents, Check-in notes and Sites.
